Command to set Pre or Post Behavior for Layer?

What, if any, george command permits you to select settings for pre and post behavior for a specified layer? (None, Repeat, PingPong, Hold)

nope, afaik, actually no way to read/set the pre/post behavior of a layer.
well, I can live without such commands, and I use to animate without these layer's pre/post behaviors trick,
like if they were going slowly but surely to obsoleteness, ...
the first reason is that most plugins don't take care of these layer settings,
so I always leave these pre/post settings to None and use an alternative way (the Instance engine)
to get the same effect :
- to make an "Hold" behavior, just stretch the exposure handle at the desired length,
- to make a "Repeat" behavior, use the FauxFixe feature for one (or several) loops,
- to make a "PingPong" behavior, first copy/paste/invert the sequence, then a FauxFixe to loop it.
that requires only few seconds of additional work, but your animlayers are plainly consistents
and can be treated/filtered/merged/... with external plugins without any problems
(like disappearing after the last existing frame).

meanwhile, if the tv_layerinfo command could return the layer's pre/post settings,
and if we also get a new command to edit/set these settings, I'll take it !
that said, nowadays, I think we just have to be patient and wait for the next-coming v.TEN,
I guess it should bring us much more changes concerning the layer's management,
(tools, commands, ... and so on), ... as they say, "wait and see" .

Now after discussing the pre and post behavior I second that there should be possible to to read and write the Pre and post through George ,-)Mads
