"wall" [wip]

Post by slowtiger »

Just to show that I do something ...

For the shadow I found the layer blending mode "grain merge" more satisfying than my usual "multiply". The BG was done on paper, everything else in Photoshop and TVP. Original format HDTV 1080.

First scene with some real movement. It's so much fun to do!

Since the whole film needs to work without sound, I have to act out impacts and everything very broadly. The shadows help to mark contact frames.

His nose takes the contact a bit too lightly, no? Like a fly. Flies bumping against the window always make me wonder how they can take it without squishing their eyeballs. And the boiling shadow that protrudes behind him as he leans forward is distracting because you expect it to follow him forward. Two tiny bugaboos that keep bringing my eye to the piece, but that's what you get for running us a loop. :|
