I also like your work very much.
it has a lot of energy and strong use of colors
and you are exceptionally good in this style... a style that i would have to call something like impressionistic action animation.
you have a great ability of depicting a very rich world in a very dynamic way while using relatively little detail but lots of motion.
I admire this very much

however in some scenes the lack of detail is a bit too distracting.
especially the animation of the characters is often a bit too sketchy for my taste

oh... and music wise i prefer, very much, that Celtic style song under
"Mark of love all in one"
over the neurotic eurotrancebeat (or whatever this kind of music is called) , that you put under the "teaser malaika 2008 remix"
the still quality of this song makes for a very nice contrast against all the great bombastic visual action

but on the whole i very much admire and enjoy your work.. keep it up!!

ah yes , u'r right , many people dont like my musics choice, but i try to surprise people a bit, but maybe i do it wrong way.

here comes again the new trailer with another type of music again lol
maybe people will dislike again.
Malaika princess " the champions"

"however in some scenes the lack of detail is a bit too distracting.

thx for that, i read that and now i use all my skills to do good animation , erspecially acting animation(i sux in acting)
but it's very hard to do really good acting animation.
i remember some advice from teacher to use myself to help acting animation and it's works!
i really this movie will help me in acting skills(the problem is that the movie is action movie again, so less acting animation lol)
i'm not good in english but i hope you understand me.

"oh... and music wise i prefer, very much, that Celtic style song under
"Mark of love all in one""

it's just video game music, yes it's very beautiful song, i love it.very inspiring.

"over the neurotic eurotrancebeat (or whatever this kind of music is called) , that you put under the "teaser malaika 2008 remix"

yes ok , many people didn't like the music lool ^^'

thx fanay
i finished the whole animation now,
i'm in montage and i make retakes of bad animation(it's too hard T__T)
it's hard to see your first animation of project, the contrast with the last one is huge.o_o

seanAni
i hope to finish the work in june.
but the quality in web will be like the trailer i'm afraid, anyway no need to really understand the speaking of characters.
the movie have a story very simple.(it's not even orignal, just a "fantasy" race )

sorry for the huge late answer, now i 'll try to answer asap, i promise.
sorry again.

First I was not sure with the "kitchy" content (surfing-blue water, butterflies, look of eyes, flying through blue air) but then the colorful vitality covered it all and made it plausible.
But I would look for another kind of soundtrack (why not selfmade ?) - for all your versions I don't feel comfortable with it (and I think that has not much to do with my preferences; anyway Thomas Tallis won't fit here I am guessing  )

yes , i didn't really expalin the concept of the movie, which is that people in it can glide on the earth with magic water .
it's a fantasy story yes.
kitschy yes maybe
i loved this idea and trying to illustrate that in two movies(the second in the future)
sorry for the quality youtube, stage6 is dead, too bad.16/9 gone T__T

selfmade soundtrack, maybe , i know a english musician , i dont know if he'll like my work and do a soundtrack for it but i cant do music, i really sux in music, and it seems in music choice looolz.
i hope you get me(my english is very poor)

I see you switched over to Vimeo. I just signed up over there, much better quality, and they support HD. I hated the way my clips looked on you tube.
Howdy Yaaaal!

Probably, yes ... :) at least, there will be a lot of students interested by the japanese animation and TVPaint ;)
The Japan-Expo could be a good opportunity for you to show your works to some interested people.

hello fabrice, thx a lot!
it's not the trailer in better definition, i'm working on this and the movie(really want to finish it for japan expo then)

but it's another free animation
http://www.2shared.com/file/3300986/b2f ... sd_tv.html
i think you already know the animation, but tell me if the quality(visual) is good or no.

(francais, donc ouais ,c'est pas princesse malaika le trailer en bonne qualité mais une autre animation libre, dites moi si la qualité visuelle est bonne ou pas.)

hello all
here is my last trailer of my project

http://www.sendspace.com/file/gom0l7
streaming(bad quality anyway)
http://www.vimeo.com/1253406

hope you'll like it.
about 3mn for it.
now i can begin to work on the final montage of the project , finish it and begin the next (a fantasy project again or an real life anime , i dont know )
the trailer just show the characters and some interaction between them.
the project is about a big fantasy race in a a kingdom
the main character is chinue and will try to finish first , of course she have a lot of rivals and the battle could be very hard for her.
here is the cast(even if awa character is not a real main character , there are still some "hidden" character tough)
