no user galleries

Post by malcooning »

is there anything wrong with the gallery?
It does not allow me to login (says user not existing), although I'm trying to log in with my forums details. As well, in the community gallery it says "There are no user galleries". Am I doing something wrong?

certainly there''s something wrong ...
- all the personal user's galleries are referenced as Mr.X's galleries :o
- the users's galeries list is un-get-at-able,
- the login/connection doesn't work anymore,
...

I wonder who could be this Mr.X ?
some hacker from east-side ? ... from the west ?

fanany,

how did you manage to find even 'Mr. X's gallery? I couldn't get anyone listed in the Community Gallery list.
Maybe it has to do with my problem to log in into the galley (I guess it's related to the changed name malcooning > Mr X).

The software we used for the user gallery had a huge security hole, which was exploited by some people.
We are currently looking to find a better software to put it online again.
Any ideas ?

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mr.X have just been added in the full path,
so a user's gallery is now an album (a sub-gallery) of Mr.X's gallery,
just click on a ramdom photo (bottom section) to get path like :
[ Accueil > Community galleries > Mr.X > le-mec ]

May I ask "Mr. X" to please contact me about my images in the gallery ?

Thanks.

I'm not Mr.X, but as Mr.Z, I would try this following link :
http://www.tvpaint.com/galerie/displayi ... m=62&pos=2

Zig.

ps: I hope this gallery issue will be fixed soon,
or maybe to open a new one somewhere else ...?

Yes, I hope there will be a new gallery soon.

I have some new pieces done with TVPaint that I would like to post.

However, I also have a few of my images I posted to my user gallery that I would like to remove for now .
But I have no more access to my images in my user gallery , so I wondered if Mr. X could contact me so I could request removal of a few of those images .

Thanks.

oh, in that case, I suppose you have to ask to the forum moderator,
or to the board admin, ... btw, who is it? it is not mentionned anywhere on the site ...
this site need definitively a more functional remodelling.
otherwise, I'm afraid Mr.X isn't listening and answering at any user's request...

that's said, we are here closing a long working week, (friday evening),
so I hope you aren't too hurry, and can wait till monday! :)

Hi all,
I am very busy on other works for now but as soon as I can I will add a new gallery.
You can of course post your work on the forum in WIP thread.

At this point I'm more interested in having control over my images again because there are a few I'd like to remove and replace with new ones. I can certainly post the new ones in the WIP thread, but what I really want is my user gallery back in my name again so I can also take down images . As it is now the whole thing is locked down.

i'd imagine with the security hole they described your best action would be to send a private email/message with noter on which you'd like to be removed, which admin could act on promptly.

Hi all,

We will do our best to make the gallery work as soon as possible.
It's been a little crazy around here since we're in the last month of the year.

Please contact me directly via private message if you want to add or remove a picture/anim in the gallery.
