How to make an anim brush?

Post by strike1980 »

Or is it even possible? I have TVpaint Animation 8.0.
I can't figure out how to add more than one selection to brush. I am using Rectangle CutBrush to do that. The information says: "If there is multiple images selected, an anim brush is cut." But I don't know how to select multiple images at the same time.

Tool: CustomBrush -> There's below the Reset button "1/1" which indicates how many pictures the anim brush uses. I just don't know how to increase that.

Maybe I am totally lost here, but please help me out with this :)

selecting multiple frames can be done by draging under the layer, a yellow bar appears that represents the selected frames.
double clicking under the layer selects all frames of the layer

here you can find some beginner tutorials:

or 2 clicks :
first one (LMB) on the first of the range,
then (Shift+LMB) the second one under the last of your frames selection.

ps: btw, this "by 2 clicks" selection mode (LMB/Shift+LMB) is still missing in the XSheet interface,
... dragging when the last frame you want to reach is far out of the window is scrolling
so sloooowwwwly, and very boring ...
and the worst is on the right-side, (the Source), as the scrolling doesn't work at all :x
