I have Tool Preview set to ON for some tools and OFF for others. Therefore, I must leave this box Unchecked.


The problem is that leaving it unchecked causes the current tool preview option to go from OFF to ON when you hit OK on the Preferences Panel.

The video below demonstrates the unexpected behavior. As you see, the Preview box is UNchecked for the Pencil Tool when I open the Preferences panel. Even if no changes are made, simply selecting OK causes the Preview to be toggled ON automatically. You can see that my cursor doesn't move after hitting OK.

Can anyone tell me if this is a bug or am I simply misunderstanding something about the Hide Tools option?
