TVpaint doesn't let me export files all the sudden

Hello everyone!
I have an urgent issue with TVpaint. It all started yesterday. I was exporting a file, when suddenly tvpaint suddenly crashed. When I tried to reopen the saved file it automatically crashed each time. Luckily seemed to be with that specific file, which by the way was not that particularly big.
Today I tried to export another file, but nothing. It doesn't even start the exporting bar on the screen. No idea what happened or what cause this. It seems to export AVI, but defitenely no MOV, which is what I need. I have a macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7, MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Ealy 2015). I usually export everyhing directly onto my harddrive which is a Seagate Expansion Drive.
I need to urgently solve this as well as retrieve the file that seem to be corrupted.
Did anyone else experience something like this before?
