I just updated to Monterey and since TVP had trouble with the dongle I found this thread. I have now downloaded TVP again and have trouble installing it. I get an error saying that Apple can't verify that the software is secure. I also tried this advice from Thierry on page 1 , but the link does not open for me: UPDATE 17/06/2022: On macOS Monterey 12.4 (the latest one), TVPaint doesn't start because CodeMeter doesn't seem to be working.
If you updated to macOS Monterey, please install this version of CodeMeter and the software should be able to run once again: https://owncloud.tvpaint.com/index.php/ ... Sf5Zgj85lF
Could I get some help, please. Thanks in advance.

The latest version of Monterey is 12.6.3 (that's the one I have). I believe the Codemeter installer that is contained in the TVPaint 11.7.1 installer (released on Dec. 22, 2022) is the correct installer.
Make sure you have the Dec. 22,2022 release downloaded and reinstall Codemeter from that one, following these instructions for installation: viewtopic.php?t=14973

If you continue to get that message from Apple about how the software can not be opened because it is from an "unidentified developer", do this:

In the Finder on your Mac, locate the app you want to open.

Don’t use Launchpad to do this. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.

Control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.

Click Open.

The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it just as you can any registered app.

Note: You can also grant an exception for a blocked app by clicking the Open Anyway button in the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences. This button is available for about an hour after you try to open the app. To change these preferences on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy , then click General.

Thanks David! I re-installed from my account and have the Dec22, 20022 version. I also used the exception method with system preferences that you mentioned.
I'm back to the original problem with the dongle not getting seen by TVpaint. I'm using a USB dongle, it's plugged in and has a green LED light active, but in TVP I get this pop-up telling me to plug in the dongle. In the greyed out TVP window I can also see a tab called purchase, which makes me wonder if I should and where I could re-enter my unlock code.
I can wait until Monday and hopefully somebody from TVP could tell me how to proceed.

The issue is that the company who make the dongle, Safenet , have not updated their dongle drivers to work with MacOS Monterey or Ventura. See: viewtopic.php?p=130648#p130648

So you need to request that TVPaint Support migrates your license to the WIBU dongleless security system. I would suggest you use the Contact form on the website as it will be more likely to be seen first thing on Monday.

Does TVPaint 11.7.1 run with no problems on MacOS Ventura ?

Thank you. I thought that was the case , but because David Fine's two inquiries above had not received a reply I wanted to confirm that TVPaint is running on MacOS Ventura.

Hello! As Dean has already replied but I was just wondering if TVP 11.7 or 11.7.1 works as it should on the latest MacOS Ventura 13.2.1?
