Apply Repeat Image

Unfortunately if the repeated images feature is used, these images result in an hold frame if you export it to a JSON file.
The most elegant solution would be to somehow include these images in the JSON file. Nontheless it would be nice if the repeated images could be applied in the right click menu. So you could apply them before exporting.
My current fix is to create an empty layer below the layer, which uses this feature and than merge them. This works, but seem like an unnecessary workaround?
