Can't Combine Selection Lasso with Set Script

Is this an error? I Can't Combine Selection Lasso with Set Script. For a custom tool. And I can't set parameters with Selection Lasso to 'Add'.
Is this also an error, I think before 11.5 Selection parameters remained the same when you restart TVPaint. Now everytime you restart it defaults to 'Replace'. Feels like a hassle when you restart TVPaint.
