There are times and places where I like to have the lines drawn. This reminds me of those wall clocks so popular in the '50's, which I never liked and probably most people in the world didn't either because they didn't last too long (except on towers of "modern" buildings where no one could get to them). What's next? Like clocks without numbers, buttons without borders and icons?

Dry Mud System

Post by malcooning »

Almost 15 months without any new interface entry?
c'mon people - i'm sure many of you have been bored to death seeing the same colors day in day out.
post up any of your habit-breaking changes please!

meantime, here's a new entry from me.
It's for those who like thier interfaces very dark, and especially for those who work in the dark.
It has some problems and inconsistencies (i.e rendering of menu icons over dark backgrounds), which are inherent in the TVP customization engine itself, but I'm sure these issues will be addressed soon. enjoy.

I don't know if it's still ongoing, since nobody posted here a theme since 2009, but here is mine for TVP10

I've been fiddling around to achieve a dark workspace (based on the Mirage interface) with a flat look and feel. Does anybody know how I can get rid of those white highlight outlines and the dark lines around the buttons. Some of you found some solution to this in the samples above, but I've tried and tried and I can't find which setting it is...

Any help would be appreciated!

That's what I have, Paul, but to no avail. I'm sure it must be one of the boxes next to the 'Color' pulldown.

alas, not all interface colors are in that list....
for instance, like others before him, Lukas just very recently ran into it:viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6930&p=62369#p62369

Ah, that explains it. Thanks Peter, I missed that post.
Perhaps a feature request, if it's not too much of an effort. And while you're at it :P ; a direct feedback in the interface would be good. So that the user doesn't have to click 'OK' and close the preferences window to see the effect of the changes. That would save a lot of time.
