Some Stop Motion animation with TVPaint

I thought I'd post a few of my students' stop-motion animation exercises made with TVPaint Animation. These were done for a first semester class on Introduction to Animation Principles & Techniques . Most of the projects in the class are stop-motion , rather than hand-drawn animation. These were all made with TVPaint 11, capturing directly into TVPaint using the Video Input , shot with Logitech C920 HD webcams , with iGlasses webcam control software to adjust the webcam settings (manual focus/manual exposure/white balance) .

I was going to embed these as playable Quicktime movies (for Firefox and Safari users) but I can't figure out how to post them as embedded Quicktime movies . The qt embed parameters ( [qt]size,height,http://url[/qt] ) do not appear to be functional since the forum was updated recently.

Instead I have posted them as YouTube videos.

The first two are paper cut-out puppet animation . The last is stop-motion puppet animation and in addition to the puppets animated on-set , the student added snow effects animation with the Particles Generator in the TVPaint FX Stack. He also used TVPaint to digitally erase and mask out the wire rigging which held up the puppets.
