lock visibility of layers into a group.

Post by NickA »

This would be be very handy for me right now.

I'd love to be able to lock the visibility of 2 (or more) layers together, so when I press = key both of those layers remain visible, while the others disappear.

Maybe make it part of the current colour coding system.

You can pretty much do that with the colors at the bottom of the layer panel or is it that you want this to be a key command?

It's a frequently asked feature... but at the moment, it's a little difficult to create those function... but there are script which can help you : tv_layerdisplay (layerID or 0) and ad "on"|"off"|"toggle".

More information about the scripts on the George, SDK froum and in the user guide =)

EDIT : If you use the color's layers, you will put invisible the layers, but their contains will be always shown

Thanks for the script Elodie. I think I start learning george so I can put this one into play (as a key command and/or button). :D
