It's a photo I found on the web after some searching, but I don't think it's self published.
Samizdat used to look more modest, no?
It's probably a cutout collage then. It's kind of funny in a way;the ornate, gold leaf book with the cheap, mimeographed label. I thought you might have picked up this book somewhere and it could be worth some decent money by now.
