TVPaint Animation 11.7.3 is available!

Hello everyone,

TVPaint Animation 11.7.3 is now available. This update fixes bugs and improves control over the layer structure export parameters.
Please note that due to technical, there is no Linux build available for v11.7.3. Once those issues are solved, we'll release a Linux build.

What has been fixed and/or improved in TVPaint Animation 11.7.3?

General

• Brush profile curves are now correctly saved and loaded upon change.
• Replaced the "Export all" and "Ignore Duplicate Images" options in the export panel with single export parameters. There is now:
  • one checkbox for "Empty images" (turned on by default)
  • one checkbox for "Duplicated images" (turned on by default)
  • one checkbox for "Exposure cells" (turned off by default)
• Fixed an issue where contextual menus would close themselves upon opening.

Sound

• m4a files can be imported once again.
• Audio files playback no longer cuts off before the end of the animation / track.
• Fixed a crash that was happening when importing FLAC files.

macOS

• There should no longer be parasite noise when playing audio tracks.
• Brush no longer stays in "Eraser" mode after switching back from the eraser end of the Wacom stylus.

When I go to my account and click on the download 11.7.3 link to download the Win 64 version, it is still downloading 11.7.2.

Having the same issue as above - the downloaded file for Win 64 is 11.7.2

Very weird, I've just downloaded both Pro & Standard on my personal account, and the zip files I have are both 11.7.3, and they install v11.7.3.
Are you trying to download the Wibu version or the old one?

The old one with the dongle. Have not transitioned to Wibu yet.
Just tried again and it's still downloading 11.7.2

Okay, let me check a few things, it's possible something didn't get updated correctly on the server config.

Can confirm it works for me now too! Also it looks like flipping the Wacom pen from eraser back to paintbrush works properly now too! Thanks!!!

Dean, in my account, when I go to download wibu version, it has > TVPaint Animation 11.7.3 Std (mac-64 wibu) [14996wo].zip as the file I am downloading. But, when I install the program and check the About screen, it states the version is 11.7.2 (11.7). I'm on Mac. So, not sure if after installation, the About info is wrong or the downloaded file is not actually 11.7.3. Thanks

Hi, I'm getting the exact same result on my Mac as "ernesttx."
The downloaded file and the file name is "TVPaint Animation 11.7.3 4844wo Pro (64 wibu)", but the 'about' TVP paint says 11.7.2
Maybe it's a typo in the 'about window'?? Is there any way to test it? downloaded twice and installed twice and restarted, but same result.

For what it's worth in trying to track down the source of this problem , I am on MacOS , Wibu security version (not dongle) , and the file I downloaded from my TVPaint account is 11.7.3.
So it's working correctly on my end. (I realize that's cold comfort for those who are not getting the correct version to download on their end, but just wanted to document for the team that I was able to download 11.7.3 for Mac)

BUT the odd thing on my end is that when I click on the Help menu > About , nothing comes up to show "About TVPaint". Usually a window would pop up to show the version and my registration info.

OH , but wait ... now I see the source of the confusion. Clicking on About TVPaint Animation 11 Pro from the TVPaint 11 Pro menu says that this is version 11.7.2 . But I believe this is in fact 11.7.3 , not 11.7.2 , because the Eraser works properly again (was broken in 11.7.2) , and it is possible to import .m4a files again , among other fixes that Thierry mentioned in his post above.
