Being able to Undo Layer Opacity Changes

Post by NathanOtano »

Hey! :)
Regarding usual work and scripting, I hate that layer opacity (or tv_layerdensity) isn't undoable. It wasn't like that before and I don't understand why it has been changed.
It means that we can't interact with layer opacity without kind of remembering what it was before with a script, we lose lots of possibilies because of that and we can't really "try and undo" to find the best opacity

Hmm, I agree that it's annoying.
We'll see what we can do. It likely won't be for 11.5.3, but probably for the one after that.

Some users prefer not to have it, so I assume there will have to be another preference setting ...

Problem with letting people choose is that it may mess up with the scripts, I think scripted opacity changes should always be in the undo stack and it's only cursor change that could be an option
