custombrushes+Shift i presume?

i just noticed shift doesn't work under alpha stamp, is that correct?

also... the opacity of a brush has to be well under 10% even 5% to be able to see any significant shifting going on.

wouldn't it be possible to have the shift parameters be (more) independent from opacity?
it thinks its confusing that the shift parameter only works for 10% of the opacity spectrum.
And also i have the idea that in these very low opacities the colors are much less exact, weird color shifts can sometimes be seen.
This defeats the purpose of mixing, where the goal is to get the right colors.

I agree with you Peter, maybe do we need something more accurate regarding the lowest shifting/opacity values ...

But, I guess that this problem comes from color spaces (RGB, TSL, floattng pixels, etc ...) maybe Patrice or Hervé will tell you more about this.
