Hi Rohan, a quick test: does this still happens after giving TVPaint full disk access from the Security settings?

I will send you a v11.7.0 installer via PM so you can conduct some tests

"Minor" version updates are free and can be downloaded from "My software" section of your user account.

A number of bugs has been solved between these versions, so installing a v11.7.2 in parallel of your current version would allow you to test if the behavior is still problematic.
