Re: Disney's Meander software

The motion just needs to be PoA'd, as in needing the principles of animation applied. In other posts online (Youtube) Duo Cartoonist mention adding the principles at some stage in the process. The available demos are just peeks not intended to represent the full scope of capabilities. To generate th...

I thought you were describing the space between the dots instead of all lines being dots.

Re: Mistakes in the user guide

I just pointed that detail out in case you did not realize it worked like that. I am in agreement but I would say interface design has a dramatic effect on a user's ability to get the most out of a product. Fortunately, at least in my perception, TVPaint 11 is at the stage of fine tuning. Thus far I...

The left side resets with 0. Introduct...

Re: Particles:: Animation mode missing

That is a very nice stylized 3D effect. Reminds me of those flat geometric designs which reveal 3D form when you slightly relax your focus..........in the way it surprises me how much depth it seems to have.

Re: Disney's Meander software

I was reading other material on Meander and did not pursue the details of Moana. " The hand-drawn opening was made with the program, along with the other two-dimensional elements of the film, like the living tattoos in Maui's grand musical number, "You're Welcome. "" ~ SOURCE &qu...

Re: Disney's Meander software

What is Disney's objective showing off Meander? These videos are directed at the general public not strictly industry people. If they were going to offer it for sale to the public all of this would make sense. Tease level "making of" descriptions are what I am accustomed to whether it is s...

Re: Specific Image Sequence Numbering

You may already know that every file has to have an extension for it to be read. On a Mac you have the option to show or hide the extension. It has been a long time but I recall Windows having this option as well. Is there a particular window within TVPaint you are able to see these sequenced files ...

Re: For reference: 100 walks

Watching the 100 Walks I wished it had been done with four camera angles (3/4, side. front & back) as I have been thinking of a walk straight on towards the camera. Found a source of references called Endless References: https://www.youtube.com/user/endlessreference/videos Samples of standard wa...

Re: No working disk drive on mac

Did you purchase this directly from TVPaint?

If so, I would contact them. I imagine they would normally have provided instructions once the required information had been presented.

Re: No working disk drive on mac

I acquired my license through an approved private sale with the original owner so I have no experience purchasing the software directly from TVPaint. I would imagine that you must receive these two codes whenever you purchase the software. The original owner had received them when he purchased the s...
