Re: Recommendations for Cintiq alternatives ?

Here's another Cintiq alternative: Gaomon PD156 PRO - https://www.gaomon.net/Pen_Display/PD156PRO.html Does anyone from TVPaint Development Co. know if the Gaomon PD156 PRO is compatible with TVPaint ? (or have any of the other users here ever used the Gaomon PD156 PRO with TVPaint?) I have a studen...

Add All Selected Layers to Image Library

Currently we have the option to ' Add Current Layer Image' to the Image Library. I am requesting that the option to 'Add ALL Selected Layers' to Library be added. So , for example, if I have multiple layers that I want to add to the Image Library I do not have to select and add each layer one at a t...

It's because you export the camera view i think, try to disable it?
Future version will be able to do it but for now it can't I think
I turned the camera view off , but I still can't get it to export my Clips to PSD . Instead it exports the storyboard panels as individual PNGs.

Re: Export all clips as psd WITH layers?

You can use my export script in my storyboard tools panel for that https://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10376 There's something I'm not understanding about your Storyboard Tools Export Script. When I hold Shift and click on the Export Storyboard Diapos button , I get various options , one...

Re: Export all clips as psd WITH layers?

I'm trying to understand what the pipeline is that requires storyboard panels (clips) to be exported to Photoshop. What do you need to do to the artwork in Photoshop that you can't simply do in TVPaint?

Re: Colo & Texture Layer Alpha

If it's overfilling like that , use an Exclusion squiggle to keep that area between the legs from being filled.

Re: Quick view of drawing area as values (grayscale, b+w)

= For your purpose i’d just use a button to convert in grey scale as you want and then use undo, which is close to your use of fx stack and I think is the optimal version (you can even use a shortcut to toggle fx stack preview on and off if it exists? I remember a toggle to see momentarily only som...

Re: Mistakes in the user guide

Thanks for the notice David! I only noticed it because I was trying (via text messages) to help a friend who is new to using TVPaint and was asking about "using something similar to a Mask in Photoshop" . I said: "It is not exactly the same as in Photoshop, but search the User Manual for stencil". ...

Re: Mistakes in the user guide

In the user manual the function of the Stencil is described as "Mask". If a user seeks for "Stencil" in the User Manual they won't find this function because it is categorized under "Masks" in the User Manual. This is confusing. https://www.tvpaint.com/doc/tvp11/index.php?id=lesson-tradigital-animat...

Re: Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 vs Pro 24 for TVPaint

The Pro 24 is humongous and I have no idea how I would mount it -- I'd rather not pay $500 for Wacom's stand. The Pro 16 has pretty straightforward and affordable mounting solutions. Wait now ... what ?! Wacom makes you pay $500 extra for the stand ?!! I have a Cintiq 21UX (still working fine after...

Re: slowness

It is not possible to manually change the numeration of the numbers in the upper left corner because those numbers necessarily refer to the SCENE Numbers and the CLIP numbers (how many clips within each SCENE) that make up the totality of the animatic. In my example here I have 3 SCENES: SCENE 1 (pi...

Re: clip numérotation

And this one ? That number in the upper left corner refers to SCENE Number (1) , then the CLIP Number (for example: 1/8 ... meaning 1 of 8 clips , or however many clips you have in your SCENE. That number in the upper left corner will update to however many CLIPS/SHOTS you have included in a SCENE....

TVPaint_clip_select.mp4

(sorry David for the hardship with the video, with VLC it should be okay !)
That looks very interesting !! (and yes, , the video plays fine with VLC )
