Hello! The TVPaint is still crashing for me on M1 Mac Pro, it's not as often as 11.7.2 but it still crashed once. Not sure of the cause.

Hello! I tried using 11.7.2 after giving it full disk access. It still crashed. I am attaching the crash report in this reply.

Regarding the crashes, could you have a look if there’s any bug regarding opening the last saved project directly? For a while 11.7.2 worked fine for me, yesterday I switched on , open last opened project in the settings and it crahsed after sometime. Until then, it was working fine.

Did you try to use any of your old tools or tried to reload old shortcuts? For me that was causing the crashes, for now I have manually added my shortcuts again and not using all of the tools that I used to, by tools I mean different brushes. I have not had any crashes, fingers crossed.

Yes, that could be it. I will put it on this thread again if it crashes but otherwise amazing work by the developers! Can't thank you enough for the software!

I recently re-installed 11.7.2 and reset the config like Dean had suggested. Before when I did the same, it would crash again, but this time I didn't load my shortcuts after resetting the config, instead I had to change my shortcuts manually. Also I didn't load all the brush tools I used to have. Ma...

Just posting this in case it’s helpful for anyone, I turned off the cursor display in settings, so the cursor is just a cross hair and not a brush preview and that solved my frequent crashing problem. I’m on a Mac Studio Ultra so dunno if that will work with other platforms if you are experiencing ...

I had tried resetting the user config, it did resolve for a bit but started getting crashes again sometime later. I'll install the latest code meter too. Thanks for the response.

Hello to me it shows the code meter version 3.00. I am currently back on using 11.7.1 as 11.7.2 was crashing periodically and was losing small progress of my work.

Any fix for the crashes?

It was a problem with Codemeter, I'm able to use 11.7.1 now.
