I use the point as a cursor and every time I save the file the point cursor changes to the arrow cursor. When I move the cursor to any panel and then back to the drawing space it goes back to point cursor.
Now, that the cursor is back to normal as soon as I make a stroke it changes to arrow again and I have to move it again over a panel. Maybe it has something to do with the star in the project name indicating that the file has been saved and not changed.

So, it always goes like this for me: draw,draw,draw... save,move arrow over panel, draw a point, move arrow over panel, draw, draw, draw...

This did not happen in the standard version of TVPaint only in the PRO version.

BUT it happens in both version with youtube playlists.
Every time when a playlist is running in the background and it goes to the next track, the point cursor changes to arrow cursor and I have to move the cursor to any panel.

Has anyone experienced this ?
How can I get rid of this?

I have wrong cursors in several programs (on Mac), so I don't care much.

This only happened in TVpaint so far. I have never experienced it before in any other program. It could be OS specific.

Is it also temporary and does it also go away when you move your cursor over any panel and then back to the drawing panel?

Of course. I suspect cursor management, which is an old part of any OS, doesn't catch up with all the new window types and other gadgets in all those programs, especially those with their own window management.

I experienced it too and never really cared about. It happens especially when you use "CMD + Tab"

If you want to switch your cursor, you have to select a tool or click on a panel. Then, you'll find back your cursor in TVPaint.

I get the mouse cursor all the time. And have to reselect my brush about 50 times a day.

It happens when I switch to another program and come back to tvpaint. It also happens when I get the TVP save file alarm and click save and continue drawing.

Drawing with a mouse cursor isn't very nice/

I thought I read about this 'bug' before, but I can't find it anymore. so let's open the discussion about this problem again:

I always use the "cross cursor" when I'm drawing in tvpaint. But since a few months my cursor changes constantly back to the "arrow cursor" (while using a brush tool).
Most of the time it happens when I'm saving, but sometimes it happen's all of a sudden. Any idea how to solve this problem?
