How to Shift-Stroke?

It is working with the stroke tool but...
... nothing is happening when using the line tool.

probably a bug (?),
as work-around, use the spline tool instead,
- one clic for the start-point,
- a second clic for the end-point,
- hit [Enter], here's the straight line with your "fade" size profile.

... that said, I must admit it doesn't respect the connection profile very accurately.

here's a sample of several strokes drawn all with the same profile,
we can see some unexpected "variation" on the profile repartition along the stroke.

Here are more informations about the "Fade" connection.

Strangely, I cannot get the profile editor and the line tool work together for "fade".

It is working with the stroke tool but...

When I change the profile editor I get some lines with the line tool but not the desired result.
