WIP : waterfall animation

http://www.macrosystem.de/downloads/mov ... erfall.wmv

I just played with the Particle Generator a litte bit... enjoy...
Later I will add some flowers, a background (top), trees, birds, ...

Btw. this was done with a CBPaint 2 beta version. I am currently creating some short demo clips for CBPaint 2.... So if anyone has some good ideas what could impress the audience, let me know
I am not an artist, I can not draw so I rather would do some video effects instead of paintings.

WATEFALL / CASCADE

Post by DAVID GUIVANT »

Hi Volker, thanks for posting the reel.
Not bad at all.
I am not an artist, I can not draw so I rather would do some video effects instead of paintings.
There are other ways to do it too without using a brush or a cpu.
I remembered 3 years ago I was workin on my STAR WARS Shortilm and we needed a waterfall in a background, C3PO and R2D2 were walking past a landscape with a waterfall next to them.

3PO and R2 were toys that we animated with fishing strings and for the waterfall , I went to scout for locations with beautiful rocks and I poured lots and lots of salt.

Shot from a distance it looks like a waterfall and the sound of the salt falling is quite similar to the sound in your demo.

Give it a shot, quite fun to do but you need to be more then one person.
:P
