Xsheet BUG

Post by Sparkle » 24 Oct 2019, 16:00

TVPaint project crashes if a scene that has an xsheet layer is deleted, the crash happens the next time I attempt to save the file.

Work around is – Before you delete a scene you must first delete the xsheet layer in xsheet mode and the source(import) layer must also be fully deleted. _otherwise TVPaint crashes when attempting to save the Project.

Any else have this issue? I lost a bit of work before I managed to figure this out.

This is on Windows 10 64bit

Thanks

In the Japanese production environment, the same picture is often used multiple times,
so I sought to use Xsheet in the TVPaint10 Pro.
However, since you have been told that the Xsheet has too many conditions to crash,
we switched to using instance name(number) and handy custom panel buttom "Apply current content on instances with same name".
It seems that it will take a lot of effort to improve Xsheet.

Yes, this one issue is enough for me not to use the xsheet anymore. I would be too worried about losing my work.

Thanks again.
