5 out of 6, that's pretty good !

And Kevin, the only non-tvpainter, got an excuse, he made his film at Calarts :)

Thanks Sewie. I wanted to do it yesterday, but I was too lazy busy :mrgreen:

And that's a great year : except Vésuves, all the projects thanks Fabrice and add TVP Animation 9.5's logo in the credits :D

My prefered project is "Who's afraitd of Mr Greedy" =)

hmm hmm, there is one missing project from a girl (who's name is ... ?) which was studying in Paris at Gobelins but who came from CalArts.

I will do some research to find it.

Gobelin's exercises...

Here are 5 "simple" exercises made in Les Gobelins - l'école de l'image. Students had to make very short movie with many special FX.

Enjoy !

(and most of them done the FX with TVPaint, while Fabrice and I were training them :mrgreen: )

I believe that "Who is Afraid of Mr. Greedy" was animated traditionally with pencil on paper, then the drawings were scanned and imported into TVPaint for clean-up and coloring. (just to be clear: the software is named TVPaint Animation , not "tvpainter" )

I confirm the workflow.
However, sometimes when the students are approaching the deathline, they draw and animate directly in TVPaint. It happened for "the king and the beaver".
http://www.gobelins.fr/galerie/LE-ROYAU ... THE-BEAVER" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But I don't know if it happened too for "Who is Afraid of Mr. Greedy".

nb : other stuffs I know :
"Eleanor" was a full TVPaint project.
"Fur" did use a special script of Hervé to color the lines of the characters with the same colors as the ones used in their shapes. (<< hard to explain, but tell me if you want more details, I will post a screenshot)
