Seiiku - A two students animation

Hello everyone !
I am a student at Supinfocom - RUBIKA, currently in my third year of bachelor.
Last year, we were given a semestrial project which was a 1 minute 2D animation film made in pairs.
Me and my partner thought we would share it on this forum, since it was entirely made from scratch with TVPaint.
Here is the short movie :
We decided to make a film about the relationship between a boy and a small creature.
The title, "Seiiku" is a japanese word meaning "growth". We thought it was a good fitting for this movie considering the art/animation style, which are completely inspired from japanese animation.
This film was made between February and June of 2018, with roughly 2 months dedicated only to the animation parts.
We were told not to write a story with an actual scenario, so we wouldn't loose any time on the production of the film.
It was an absolute blast to work on this project, and me and my partner are proud to show you guys our work !
