work area - bigger than screen

Post by hellofilms »

I understand that TVpaint cut the image when it goes outside the screen-area. So if you position a drawing outside of the screen and choose to move it back it's now cut.

How do you deal with that?
Is there a option to set the working area a bit bigger or set the screen bigger and use a camera?

1. Use the camera view.
2. To incorporate bigger-than-project artwork, open as separate window and place in smaller project via Keyframer FX.

yes i typically use the crop tool to create a border.

and before i do i make a fill on a separate layer to keep the original lay-out boundary in case i need that exact info.
