Applying FX to whole scene

Post by dorbs »

Hi. I'm trying to apply a simple brightness & contrast effect to my scene. Meaning, of all my layers.
I hope there's another options beside applying the effect to each individual layer.
Thanks!

In TVP there's no other way than applying to one layer after another.

But if that FX is the last thing you do, you can eaily duplicate the scene, merge all layers to one and apply the FX.
TVP 10.0.18 and 11.0 MacPro Quadcore 3GHz 16GB OS 10.6.8 Quicktime 7.6.6
TVP 11.0 and 11.7 MacPro 12core 3GHz 32GB OS 10.11 Quicktime 10.7.3
TVP 11.7 Mac Mini M2pro 32GB OS 13.5

There is an option in the FX Stack to Apply on All Layers. You have to make sure that the FX Stack is set to Apply on All Layers , All Instances . (this is important ... if you don't have All Instances selected, it doesn't work) .

This first screenshot shows how I have three FX -- Color Adjust /Glow /Grain -- applied to one layer , but I've selected to Apply on All Layers /All Instances.

In the second screenshot you can see that the FX , Color Adjust /Glow /Grain , have been applied to each layer.

You can also set the source to display (add FX > colour > image source) and render the whole scene with the same effect to a new layer.
