How to create Rounded Shapes Polygon, Square etc

Is there a way to create rounded edges for square , polygons etc.?
I am using TVP ver 11

I would also be interested to know how the grid assists in drawing a square with round corners (unless it means using the grid as a guideline along with using the Bezier spline tool as Svengali mentions in his note above?)

Svengali (and also Slowtiger) already mentioned how to do it: make a round brush with the radius of your rounded corners , then use the rectangle shape (outline , not the filled rectangle) to draw your square or rectangle. Before I saw Sven's post , I had already made a few screen shots for you, so here they are:

The documentation is misleading: there's no setting anywhere to create shapes with rounded edges.
