Re: Resizing Project to very high resolution fails.
I will come back tomorrow, cause the problem exists at my working place, where I can have a closer look at cache and friends. I don't have TVP here at home --- not yet ;-) So, I don´t really understand how to manage the cache. I think, it is managed automatically by TVP at the moment. Should I incre...

Resizing Project to very high resolution fails.
Hi, I want to resize my 1920px x 1080px project to 10100px x 5680px. It's for a bg where I want to zoom back from very close to very total. When I try to resize to the new size, TVP starts working, but ending up in a delay. The progress bar stops at 0%. TVP uses about 700 MB of Ram (there are 2GB in...

Re: HDTV Framerate settings?
Hi Slowtiger,
I've searched the internet and found that there are both options used in that format: 1920x1080 at 24 and 25 fps. So I decided to use 25 fps, because my project will never be exposed to 35mm film. Thanks for your answer, it improved my decision.

HDTV Framerate settings?
Hi, I am starting a little filmprojekt with TVPaint Animation Pro. I am a little bit confused about choosing the right framerate for the Full HDTV Resolution. I am new at this format, till today I've only worked in PAL or 2K Film Resolution. The film should be screened on Digi Beta and/or DVD (HD, B...

Re: change location of default settings
OK, here is another Question about the configsdir-thing. Now, we've installed TVPaint on my laptop at work, part of the same multiuser-environment like the other PCs. I also don't have admin-rights on my laptop so it seems to be the same situation than on our other workstations. After starting TVPai...

Re: change location of default settings
Hi, I think we have solved the problem a little bit. My admin wrote a little script (startTVPaint.bat). After starting the script it changes a environment variable to set the userprofile to a different place. Then it starts TVPaint and TVPaint is looking at the new place for the defaults. Here is th...

Re: change location of default settings
mhm, I think that is exactly what we (me and the systemadmin of our filmschool) did. And we have been very creative. We tried to set it as a key and, after it didn't worked, we tried the other possibilities of setting values in the registry. The point is, that the hole registry entry of TVPaint is n...

Re: change location of default settings
Sorry, we didn't get it to work :-( - there is no "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/TVPaint Developpement/TVP Animation Pro/" in the registry, also while TVPaint is running. - we tried to add the Key manually in "HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software", but it also didn't work. What is TVPaint d...

Re: change location of default settings
Hi Hervé, thanks for your very fast reply. We tried to set the Key in the registry but it didn't worked. Maybe you will have another hint for us. Here are some facts: - When a user is logged in, there is no "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/TVPaint Developpement/TVP Animation Pro/" in the regist...

change location of default settings
Hello, we are using TVPaint Animation 9 Pro in a multiuser workspace. We have installed 3 of our 10 Licenses on XP SP2 PCs and it works fine. Now, we will search for a way to save the TVPaint settings at another place as in the users profile, because the profile will be deleted everytime after users...
