Just testing a quick idea mixing a Classic Circle Transition with the new and powerful Brush Spreading (both in the FX stack/TVP11).
First I rendered the transition's frames then used the same layer to spread the leaves/brushes on it.

I like the idea a lot Peter, but I fear that it might be too confusing for a new user to see so many buttons to check. I think it would be better to have some pop-ups instead of the checkboxes. Problem is there are already lots of tabs and pop-ups in there... Or make the "room 2-3-4" coll...

You can read the keyboard shortcut via the tooltip (called "Inline Help") too, full mode only (Help > InLine Help > Full).

Pas vraiment sûr que ce soit lié à Quicktime, j'avais fait des tests via Handbrake à partir d'avi brut et les résultats étaient globalement plus sombre de 8%.
Pour des uploads sur Vimeo ou Youtube, ça reste le meilleur format, mais il est évident qu'il ne faut pas comparer avec la vidéo originale.

Il faudrait booster la mémoire également parce que 4Go de ram, c'est loin d'être confortable pour de grandes définitions !
