This is great! But It seems that starting with the dog jump everything is in slow motion?

Re: Any plans for TVpaint 12? will it adopt AI technology?
Oh please. There is no such thing as "AI tools", especially not for 2D animation. There have been attempts to automatic inbetweening (so far no success) and semi-automatic coloring (may work in certain settings). Other than that there's no tools available right now. I could imagine some AP...

Re: Coloring "rough" drawings-Open lines all over
Oh, that's a good trick, it avoids most of the unfilled sharp corners you get when using the fill tool with a larger gap closing value from inside.
In the end you will end up using a combination of everything anyway!

Re: Coloring "rough" drawings-Open lines all over
TVP's fill tool and CTG layers can help you only so far that they can close smaller gaps. Rough drawings or any rough line animation style needs to be colorized by hand. Some options: - If it's only temporary I'll use a really large and fluffy brush. Good enough to block out BG elements, fast in app...

Re: Approach for lineless Animation
You can always adjust the fill tool's expand to your taste. Trick: it still works with the line layer above set to 0% opacity ... Another approach might be to animate the fills directly, without outlines. My friend Anita Bruneburg uses the shape tool for this, see examples: https://twitter.com/brune...

Re: Export name
In order to do that, a reference to the computer used (or the TVP serial number) needs to be saved within the file, and that's something I definitely DON't want.

Re: Export name
I had that problem when I received files from others. Each time I wanted to render those had a pathname completely different from mine. I think this cannot be solved: either you save that pathname within the file, then it will carry it to a different machine. Or you have the pathname remembered in T...

Re: Importing MOV files to TVPaint: how to avoid file size bloat?
There are several tricks to this. 1. Do all image enhancing first in your video editor (boosting up contrast for rotoscoping, brightening, etc). 2. Use a very powerful machine. No, not the laptop you barely could afford as a student. A decent desktop with lots of RAM, an SDD (nowadays standard), and...

Re: Export name
Hm, I'm not sure if this should be fiddled with. Everyone has different expectations to this, and everyone has adapted their habits to the way TVP works right now. Changing these would in worst cases lead to loss of data through overwriting.

The whole discussion can be closed by just one simple fact: CAPS was not a 64bit application, I bet it was only 16bit. No need to resurrect a relict like that.

Re: clean workspace for animation
There's no single answer because people's preferences are different, and they use different hardware setups: tablet + computer + keyboard, with one to (up to) 4 screens, cintiq + computer + keyboard (that's me), cintiq + monitor + computer + keyboard, tabletcomputer with shuttle, tabletcomputer only.

Re: Non-destructive mask over a layer
In such a case, with several layers/objects in movement, I first render this chunk as a video, then import, then cut a a part of this to cover the plant. OR I create a simple mask of the covering part and use it to cut off the parts of the plant that should be invisible, after the plant insertion is...
