Re: Help me Make Brushes for TVPaint

Hi Nagarjuna, Welcome to the forum. unfortunately there is no simple conversion path to turn Ps brushes into TVPaint brushes, and you will need to recreate them. This is because TVP brushes are set up very differently from photoshop brushes. If you share some images of the line quality you are looki...

linesmooting UI colors

the UI color (HUD) of the Line Smoothing "Pulledstring" option is always the same as the A color. My request is to have it be a complementary color to whatever the color is of the pixels it is over. Because now if you pull the line through an area with the same color as the A color the UI ...

UI inconvenience regarding the changing of blendmodes

I ran into this issue again. When in "display current layer" mode its impossible to change the blendmode! This is an inconvenience for me. i have a somewhat chaotic mind and i can at quite random times remember that i have to change the layer blendmode. Why should i be prevented to do this...

Re: change sketch panel blue

Yes this is not intuitive. Nested arrays of color and alpha channels :? ... they make my brain hurt... but if you keep it simple it can be very usefull.... And you can find more info on the site: https://www.tvpaint.com/doc/tvp11/index.php?id=lesson-advanced-functions-george-instructions-commands#tv...

Re: Anaglyph 3d via George?

To color the content of a layer cyan/red you can use this function: https://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php ... ey#p133187
so you'd be able to do it with just actions.

You could also try the FXstack route...

Re: Getting brush from Guideline Image

i was gonna suggest this: "take a screenshot of my guideline/reference image, and then use Edit>Clipboard>Paste Brush to get the screen shot of the reference imported as a brush" but then you already came with it yourself. So i am a bit confused what your question is. if you want to be abl...

Re: Procreate Dreams

Ouf very sexy clip!
And Yes the Procreate drawing tools are very very nice (dare i say... nicer then tvpaints), and indeed already a lot of people are using it.
This is big competition and will for sure soon dominate the market for beginning talent and on the move animation solutions.

Re: Export name

Unfortunately i don't have the answer Joost. But i did notice some unreliability with this function myself. I just want to chip in and say that this kind of very basic functionality is very important to be working correct. More important than sexy new features. This affects everyday productivity and ...

Hey Paul, How are you, good to see you back here!

Unfortunately i don't know anything about the mac side of dongles.
You could consider going dongle less with the new WIBU license system, but you'll have to ask someone from the team.
maybe try a pm

locking a layer hides instance duration

i want to ask if instead of completely hiding the instance duration when you lock a layer.
Instead to maybe just do a grey out, at least leaving direct acces to this information.
i am fine with the instance handles disappearing.

Re: how to customize the color of the "all black" ink pot?

To circle back to the original thread question of "how to customize the color....": You can make an action to turn all editable pixels on the layer into ANY RGB color using this formula: By using this formula on the pixelmatrix command x *100 / 255 where x = the desired R G or B value Exam...

Re: how to customize the color of the "all black" ink pot?

you can tweek the pixelmatrix value

i did it for you:
the numbers next to the buttons stand for
Luminance value (pixelmatrix value)

(for Luminance 30 you need to put in 0.12)
