OTTAWA 2020
My new film HIDE is in competition in Ottawa this year. It's going online because of covid of course. It was done in TVPaint from storyboard to comping.

Re: Renderer
My suggestion would be a separate renderer that you load your TVPaint project into. Like Compressor for Final Cut Pro.

Re: Could there be a future for TVPaint iPad ?
If TVPaint are going to stay on OSX then an iPad version is going to have to happen sooner or later. Apple announced recently that it's switching to ARM based processors, and phasing out intel. During the cross over period the ARM based computers will be able to run intel stuff though a software sol...

Re: Renderer
Glad I'm not the only one who'd like something like this
The render queue could be in the rendering app. You would line up the project files in there.

I'm not going to try this until my film has been finished! Can't say I'm filled with confidence about the lag disappearing I'll know soon-ish

Re: Mac OS Catalina, Mojave and High Sierra (update 08/10/2019)
I was forced to buy a new Mac when my old one died. The new one runs Catalina. Now TVP 10 doesn't work any more... :( So I too would like to know if there is a planned fix, and when this might happen. Please? You can partition your drive and install an older version of OSX pretty simply, if you're ...

Re: Applying FX to whole scene
You can also set the source to display (add FX > colour > image source) and render the whole scene with the same effect to a new layer.

Re: OTANO Stick Layer to Cam
...just a bit more backslapping for you I'm comping in TVP at the moment and I don't think it would be quite so possible without your STC for tracking tones and textures to follow the camera about the place.

Re: HIDE // Animators needed.
Animation was completed end of feb, colouring almost done with comping being done in tandem. I'm actually comping in TVPaint for this, which is teaching me a lot.

Renderer
Bit of a fantasy request... I'd find it really handy if there was a standalone rendering programme that I could queue .tvpp files in with one setting for them all and click go. No need for a display or anything, just a rendered that doesn't need a dongle so I can use other computers to render and ke...

Re: Need a script to Resize Multiplane Camera project
I always have problems with the multiplane bogging down too. I'd love to use it more but I try to avoid it because of long it takes to see what you're doing. A lo-res solution would be cool, but I remember it gets porridgy even at lo-res when you start getting lots of layers in. I imagine it doesn't...
