Re: deleted colour palette
No, not there. But there's a strange phenomenon. I go to my backup drive (which sadly has a connection I can't use on any other computer), and find the backed up application itself, show package content to see the hidden files, and in every single case it says the files were last modified at 10.02 t...

Re: deleted colour palette
I found config.ini from yesterday's backup, and replaced my current one with it. Then opened TVPaint, but the palette didn't reappear.

Re: deleted colour palette
hmm, I have a mac, but given that the palette opened automatically every time I used the software, *surely* it must be saved in a file like that somewhere in my backups (of the whole mac).

Re: deleted colour palette
ok, thanks, one of those major kicking myself experiences. I was using the watercolour brush so I'm not sure I can just use the colour picker to match the colours. But it's not the end of the world.
It was surprisingly easy to lose.

deleted colour palette
I'm in one of those panic situations... I've been using a colour palette, which if I saved, it was in the early days of the project and would be pretty useless, and I just accidentally deleted it instead of a colour from it. Edit undo doesn't bring it back. I have a million backups of the project bu...

Re: acceleration with motion keyframer
lol, your eagle is magnificent. I had gone from 1000 to 0 so all the good action must be in that negative range. thank you!

acceleration with motion keyframer
Hi everybody I hope this isn't a really basic question. I have an eagle flying from the distance towards and past the "camera", so obviously it should get bigger as it comes closer. What I can't figure out is how to make the pace of change accelerate as it comes closer. The spline option a...

apply fx on pingpong
Hello, I hope someone's there today! I have a layer with waves going in and out on the shore, using a short sequence set to pingpong, and I want to apply the motion keyframer on top of that. But it's not applying itself to the "imaginary" frames implied by the pingpong, just the first lot....

Re: Multiplane camera resolution
Yes, the complications of that scare me, being new to the multiplane, so I'm hoping I'll manage it in one go.

Re: Multiplane camera resolution
Thank you very much! It's as I thought then. And it's a very long zoom. I'd better get ready for lots of cups of tea as things render.

Multiplane camera resolution
Hi folks Sorry for another newbie question, you have been very patient with me. I'm doing my first multiplane camera move and have mocked it up with draft scribbles. It's a zoom out from a detail far in the distance to a much wider landscape. So that (non-moving) detail starts full screen even thoug...

Re: Keyframer on several layers
The weirdest thing happened! After applying the effect to all the layers in the group, it spent ages rendering and then there's no move visible - but the wee red squares marking the moves are visible in the final render!!! I think I broke TVPaint.

Re: Keyframer on several layers
The first solution didn't seem to work - maybe because I created a new layer for it?? The blending modes didn't seem to carry over. I'm trying the second solution with the colour groups now.

Re: Keyframer on several layers
Ha ha, really? Honestly, though in NL, I'm not cheating on any assignments! It's been 25 years since I was in college.
