Re: Windows 10 Interface Scaling

I strongly agree! This is especially a problem when using TVPaint on a Surface, which has limited screen space. The text is either too large or too small. We need a Goldilocks setting!

Thanks,
Scott

support for Surface Dial

Hello, I've recently got TVPaint to work extremely well on a Surface Pro 3, and I'm planning to get the new Surface Pro 5 next month. Are there any plans to add input from the Surface Dial, beyond the default zoom functions? It would be phenomenal to be able to roll back and forth through frames. Th...

Re: A Question about Tablet PC, Android and Nomad

The Surface doesn't have a keypad. The only numbers are at the top of the keyboard.

Re: A Question about Tablet PC, Android and Nomad

Thanks for the fast reply Elodie! Unfortunately though, Ctrl 1 and Ctrl 3 still don't work on the Surface. Maybe it's something in the system? Where does "pad" come from? However, I did figure out why I was having trouble reassigning them to other shortcuts: the custom shortcuts are differ...

Re: A Question about Tablet PC, Android and Nomad

Hello, I'm a Standard version user trying out TVPaint Pro on a Surface Pro. One tip so far: I've found it works best if you turn off touch input. Otherwise it often interferes with the pen use, even if you have the option set to ignore touch when using pen. TVPaint is great on Surface Pro!... ...exc...

Re: Bad news - TVPaint crashes all the time now

Hi Fabrice, No, this isn't a problem with a networked license, it's my standalone license at home. I haven't heard any complaints about the lab computers, other than the somewhat frequent crashes of the dongles on the server. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, as well as my Cintiq d...

Re: Bad news - TVPaint crashes all the time now

I've been having a similar problem with TVP crashing during startup. It seems to happen more often when I double-click on a file to open, but it happens sometimes no matter which way I try. It eventually starts up after a number of tries (from 1-5). However, I haven't had a problem recently with it ...

Re: All my frames disappear when I open my saved file!

Ok so I'm working on a project which requires me to import a .mov file in my tvpaint program. I put that in one layer and I trace over on another layer. When I save my progress, it tells me it saves. However, If I close the program and open it up later, the file will open but everything is gone!!! ...

Re: All my frames disappear when I open my saved file!

It looks like I'm having this same problem. This thread doesn't help much as far as recovering my work. There's a great deal of discussion about preloading, but doesn't get at the heart of the problem: is there any way to fix a file that shows up blank? I moved the MOV file to another directory so T...

Custom brush features

I love the custom brush features, and they are one of the reasons we chose TVPaint. However, there are still a few features available in Photoshop that I wish were in TVPaint. The main feature I'd like is to allow color jitter, which enables you to create color that is less flat with increased color...

Re: TVPaint 11 fixes and improvements I would like to see

TVPaint always opens on the Cintiq on a PC, so it's probably a Mac issue.
