For me the crash was happening on a very large background - 16535 x 8536. Mainly when I was using the Colour and texture layer. I can work with the same size project in TVP 11.5 with no issue.

Anyone else have an issue with TvPaint 11.7 (Windows 10) crashing with large files?

Never had an issue before the update - so I switched back to 11.5.

When loading projects, TVPaint only remembers the directory of the first project opened. So if I open a project from folder (A). Then go and locate a project from another folder (B). And if I want to open a 2nd project from folder (B) - TvPaint brings me back to folder (A).

I did a clean install - That fixed the issue.

That worked temporarily. It fixed the eraser problem which is good. I had to import my custom panels, got that all set up. Now when I change any preferences they are not saved. Example: Changing the cursor to a point instead of the cross. Or changing the timeline to vertical vs horizontal. Each time...

I have something similar happening. I mainly notice with the eraser tool always reverting back to the last size I had before updating to 11.7. I am on a windows 10 system. This slows me down very much as I often go to use the eraser.

Yes, this one issue is enough for me not to use the xsheet anymore. I would be too worried about losing my work.

Yes, I had that set. Same issue on 2 windows 10 computers.

TVPaint project crashes if a scene that has an xsheet layer is deleted, the crash happens the next time I attempt to save the file. Work around is – Before you delete a scene you must first delete the xsheet layer in xsheet mode and the source(import) layer must also be fully deleted. _otherwise TVP...

I use the xsheet layer often. Each time I start TVPaint I must go into the preferences to show the xsheet tab. The preferences never seems to save this setting, it is lost on every restart. Anyone know how to fix this?

This is on Windows 10 64bit – I have 2 computers both have the same issue.

I have had this issue for months. I tried all suggestions, nothing is fixing the issue.

I had "Remember last used preference" checked and I'm still having the same issue.
